# Canceling Your Subscription

> How to cancel your Checkr Money Pro subscription on web or iOS, when the cancellation takes effect, and what to know about refunds.

You can cancel your Checkr Money subscription any time. Every cancellation starts on the Membership page - [Settings → Membership](https://app.checkrmoney.com/settings/subscription) - and the exact steps from there depend on how you originally signed up.

  * **Web subscribers** - open [Settings → Membership](https://app.checkrmoney.com/settings/subscription), scroll to the bottom, and tap **Cancel subscription**. Answer a short feedback question, review the recap of what you would lose, and confirm with **No thanks, cancel anyway**.
  * **iOS App Store subscribers** - cancel through [Apple Subscriptions](https://account.apple.com/account/manage/section/subscriptions). You can also open [Settings → Membership](https://app.checkrmoney.com/settings/subscription) and tap **Manage in App Store** to jump straight to Apple's cancellation screen.
  * **iOS bank transfer (ACH) subscribers** - open [Settings → Membership](https://app.checkrmoney.com/settings/subscription) in the web app and cancel from there. Apple Subscriptions doesn't list your plan because you didn't pay through the App Store.

## When the cancellation takes effect

Cancellation takes effect at the **end of your current billing period**, not immediately. You keep Pro access and all your Pro features until that date. After the period ends, your account switches to Free.

If you change your mind, you can reverse the cancellation before the end date and stay on Pro without interruption. See [What Happens When I Cancel](/billing/what-happens-when-i-cancel) for the undo paths on each channel.

## No refund for the current period

Canceling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the remainder of the period you already paid for. See [Refund Policy](/billing/how-to-get-a-refund) for the full policy.

<Warning>
  Deleting the Checkr Money app from your device does **not** cancel an App Store subscription. Apple will continue to bill you until you cancel through [Apple Subscriptions](https://account.apple.com/account/manage/section/subscriptions). You can do this before or after deleting the app, but you must do it through Apple.
